With the recent acquisition of the 34% shares, possessed Vodafone and Infoquest, in the Cosmos Group by the Chairman and CEO, Mr. Dimitris Daphnis, marks the conclusion of a 23-year cycle that commenced with the group's initial acquisition of Cosmos in June 2000.

Mr. Daphnis, who previously held 65% and now possesses 99% of the group's shares, oversees Cosmos Business Systems AEBE, Cosmos Consulting AEBE, CBS IT Systems Cyprus Ltd, and CBS.LAN AE - Cyber Security.

 

Cosmos operating continuously for 35 years, now embarks on its third growth phase amidst an exceptionally favorable economic and technological landscape in Greece and Cyprus. Projections indicate a substantial revenue increase, with expectations soaring from €41.5 million in 2022 to €66.5 million this year, representing a remarkable 60.2% surge.

 

 

Mr. Daphnis, commenting on the acquisition, stated the following:

Cosmos is one of the most significant IT and communications companies, with branches in Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, and Nicosia, Cyprus. The business turnover reached €66.5 million in 2023, employing 300 individuals across the group.
